Frank King Editorial: Cars stop now on "Near" side

How about this one. Do we understand this in a world that is completely dominated by cars, planes and trains, rules and regulations? There once was a time there were no regulations how to behave and where to stop when driving an automobile. They did stop wherever they liked at any moment. And then probably because of accidents they made up a rule. Only stop at the "near" side causing confusion among the people who were already adapted to the chaotic situation...
